Long-Term Collaboration: Previous Workshops with Herøy

Peacepainting and Herøy Municipality have had a good long term collaboration, as evidenced by our enduring partnership and the workshops we have conducted together. Among the past workshops are the Herøy Multicultural Workshop: Women Refugees, which aimed to foster inclusivity and empower refugee women through art. In June 2017, we organized a workshop that brought together children from the Norwegian Sami minority and the Nenets minority in Naryan-Mar, Russia. This allowed us to celebrate diversity and foster cross-cultural exchange within the framework of our enduring partnership with Herøy Municipality. Through the power of art, these workshops created a space where young minds from different backgrounds could come together, learn from one another, and embrace the beauty of their shared experiences. Additionally, we conducted a workshop at a school in Herøy Municipality, inspiring young minds and promoting creativity within the educational setting. These workshops stand as shining examples of our commitment to fostering unity, cultural exchange, and the transformative power of art in Herøy.
